Branches of Ayurveda which deals with the prevention of diseases through healthy lifestyle and use of Rasayana. It provides health promotive tips, diet regiments and daily regiments. It also provides awareness about seasonal bodily purification. The purview of this department include activities like health camps, health awareness programmes etc.

Kayachikitsa (General Medicine)

Kayachikitsa offers a comprehensive service to diagnose and treat Metabolic disorders, Arthritis, Diabetes, Skin diseases Hypertension, all types of Gastro­intestinal, Respiratory,Cardiovascular, circulatory, Muscular, Neurological, Neuro vascular and urinary disorders

Panchakarma

Panchakarma is a cleansing and rejuvenating program for the body, mind and consciousness. It is known for its beneficial effects on overall health wellness and self healing. It is afivefold purification therapy of the body,consists of Vamana karma, Virechanakarma, Niruha vasti, Anuvasana vasti, Nasya karma. Other Keraleeya therapiesincludes Sirodhara, Sirovasti Sarvangadhara, Kativasti, Greevavasti, Urovasti,Januvasti, Udwarthanam, Shastishali, Pinda sweda and Sarvanga abhyanga swedana.

Kaumarabhritya (Paediatrics)

Kaumarabhritya deals with the disease of the children and their nursing. The method of thecorrect nourishment and bring up of children. The common problems faced by thechildren viz, Recurrent respiratory tract infections, Urinary tract infections,Skin ailments, Gastrointestinal related problems like Constipation,Malabsorption Syndrome; Neuro-Muscular disorders- Infantile Cerebral Palsy,Dystrophies, Epilepsy, Palsy, Autism, Mental Retardation; Growth anddevelopmental diseases. Shalya Tantra (Surgery)
