Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College is privileged to announce Vijnana Sarani 2023, an international conference on clinical paediatrics in Ayurveda which is going to be inaugurated on June 7 followed by scientific sessions on June 8 & 9, 2023 at Ahalia campus, Palakkad.

Conference Overview

Vijnana Saraṇi is an international symposium through the lens of Ayurveda. It aims to serve all people involved in the field of Ayurveda through growth and community building. The Vijnana Saraṇi is a forum for the exploration of novel insights, rational thinking, and dialogue. The tradition of discourse here continues and many of the clinical/theoretical concepts are subjected to close scrutiny and reinterpretation. Neera-Ksheera-Viveka: in Indian academic tradition, the Swan (Hamsa) represents the symbol of wisdom. It reveals the concept of Neera-Ksheera-Viveka – the ability to discriminate between water (fake knowledge) and milk (true knowledge).

Conference Organisers

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College established in 2010 is known to be Kerala’s largest green educational health campus. Set in the natural surroundings of multiple acres surrounded by the Western Ghats in the Palakkad district, the college has 7 acres of self- owned herbal gardens, a home for natural flora and fauna. A full-fledged medicine manufacturing unit meeting global standards adds to the pride and prestige of the campus.

Conference Theme

Vijnana Sarani is an annual international conference. This year, the conference will focus on preventive and therapeutic innovations in paediatrics through Ayurveda. Tackling the health challenges faced by the paediatric population is one of the most pressing needs of the hour. Ayurveda, globally recognized for its philosophical abundance, holistic principles, and realistic treatment modalities, is growing exponentially throughout the world. Not much conferences were held in the field of paediatric Ayurveda. Therefore, there is much to discuss regarding the scope and potential of Ayurveda in the management and prevention of paediatric ailments.

Vijnana Sarani is designed to be an inquisitive journey with plenary lectures and thought- provoking sessions by stalwarts from the multidisciplinary health sectors revolving around the theme of paediatric Ayurveda. It intends to provide a platform for the young talents of Ayurveda to showcase their skills in a multitude of competitive segments like paper and poster presentations. Every session has been meticulously designed to help participants gain knowledge and stay updated.
