E-POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

As part of the Karkidakam month activities of the Department of Prasuti Tantra Evam Streeroga, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital organized an *E-Poster Making Competition* with the theme “ *Karkitakam and Women’s Health.* ”

The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Vandana K Vasudevan ( Assosiate professor) and Dr. Thanooja Nayanar ( Assistant professor) with the objective of creating awareness among students about the importance of women’s health during the Karkidakam season and encouraging them to explore and communicate relevant concepts through creative and scientifically oriented digital media. The competition also provided an opportunity for students to integrate Ayurvedic concepts of seasonal regimen, women’s health, preventive healthcare and contemporary health perspectives into an attractive educational poster.

Participation was open to HS students and students of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. Participants were encouraged to prepare original and creative digital posters in English or Malayalam, with emphasis on informative content and effective visual presentation. The entries were submitted in high-resolution JPG/PNG format.

The competition received enthusiastic participation from the students. The submitted posters reflected the students’ creativity, understanding of the theme and ability to present health-related information in a simple and visually appealing manner.

After evaluation of the submitted entries, *Ms. Nikhitha Krishna M.K., Final Professional BAMS student, 2022 Batch*, was selected as the Winner of the E-Poster Making Competition.

The competition successfully served its purpose of promoting awareness regarding *Karkidakam and women’s health* while simultaneously encouraging creativity, scientific communication and active student participation in departmental activities.
