As part of the 11th Ayurveda Day celebrations, the Department of Shalya Tantra, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Palakkad, in association with the MLA Office, Palakkad, organised a Free Ayurveda Health and Wellness Camp at SNDP Hall, near Lakshmi Hospital, Palakkad, on 06 September 2026.
The camp was conducted with the objective of providing accessible Ayurvedic healthcare services to the community and creating awareness about Ayurveda and the healthcare facilities available at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital. Free Ayurvedic consultation and health check-up services were provided to the beneficiaries. Ayurvedic medicines were also dispensed according to the patients’ requirements and diagnosis.
The medical team comprised Dr. Rakhy M, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sreenath P. S., Assistant Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra, along with four House Surgeons – Dr. Rusna Basheer, Dr. Anusree C. R., Dr. Anargha O. S., and Dr. Nandini Dinesh.
