Ayurpraveshika 2026–27 Inaugural Ceremony

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College organised Ayurpraveshika 2026–27, the inaugural ceremony welcoming the newly admitted First BAMS batch, on 02 November 2026. The programme commenced with a prayer by the 2025 BAMS students, followed by the welcome address by Dr. Sreejith K.K., Associate Professor, Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit. The lamp-lighting ceremony marked the inauguration, followed by the inaugural address by Dr. Sunil Kumar.N, Principal, Medical director, AAMCH. Dignitaries including Dr. Ajesh M. Pillai Director wellness, Mr. Shibu Rajendran, Administrator Agalia Ayurveda Hospital and Mr. Rajesh K.V.PTA president felicitated the programme.The White Coat Ceremony was conducted followed by candle lighting and a photo session. Dr. Aswathi K., Assistant Professor, Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit, delivered the vote of thanks. The subsequent sessions included an interaction with students and parents under the Students Support and Guidance Programme (SSGP), led by Dr. Arya S. Varma,Professor and Hod Department of Rasa Sastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana and an interactive counselling session by Dr. Sumina Pampottil, Senior Consultant and Psychologist. After lunch, interactive sessions with teachers and a Know Your College session were conducted. The programme provided a warm welcome to the new batch and encouraged students to begin their academic journey with dedication, discipline and commitment to the noble science of Ayurveda.
