Awareness Poster on Monsoon Diseases and Their Prevention
As part of the Karkidaka Chikitsa awareness activities, the Department of Roga Nidana organized an awareness initiative focusing on common diseases occurring during the monsoon season and their prevention. A poster on “Monsoon Diseases and Their Prevention” was prepared by the Department of Roga Nidana with the objective of creating awareness among patients about the health problems commonly encountered during the rainy season. The poster highlighted common monsoon-related illnesses, their causative factors, symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of maintaining proper hygiene and healthy dietary habits during Karkidaka.
The awareness poster emphasized simple preventive measures such as maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, consuming clean and properly cooked food and water, preventing mosquito breeding, avoiding exposure to contaminated surroundings, and seeking timely medical attention when symptoms develop.The programme was successfully conducted as part of the Karkidaka Chikitsa awareness activities of the Department of Roga Nidana, contributing to the promotion of preventive healthcare and public awareness regarding monsoon-related diseases.
