INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at our college. It was organised jointly by Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Dakshya College Union and the National Service Scheme (NSS).The themes for India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations are ‘150 Years of Vande Mataram’ and ‘Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047’.The Independence Day celebration of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital was held with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at 8:00 AM in the College Courtyard. The programme was jointly organised by the College Union Dakshya, College NSS Unit, College Management, and Hospital Staff. The celebration was attended by students, teaching and non-teaching staff, hospital staff, and members of the college management. The programme began with the rendition of the patriotic song “Vande Mataram”, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere. The flag hoisting ceremony was then conducted, followed by the national spirit of the gathering. The Principal, Dr. Sunil Kumar, addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of Independence Day, patriotism, unity, and the responsibilities of students and citizens towards the nation. Following this, Hospital Administrator Shibhu Sir shared his message with the gathering, emphasising the values of dedication, service, discipline, and social responsibility. The student representative, Aliya, also delivered a meaningful message on behalf of the students, reflecting on the significance of freedom and the role of young people in building a responsible and progressive nation. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ramesh A.K., who expressed gratitude to the college management, principal, hospital administration, NSS unit, college union, staff members, and students for their active participation and support in making the celebration successful.Afterwards a monsoon cleaning session was also conducted by NSS volenteeres The Independence Day celebration was conducted in a dignified and patriotic atmosphere and served as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and the responsibilities entrusted to every citizens.
