NABH TRAINING CLASS FOR NURSES
A NABH Training Class for Nurses on “Nutritional Therapy Policy” was conducted on 8th October 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Conference Hall of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Palakkad. The session was delivered by Dr. Sandeep Krishnan, Assistant Professor, Department of Swasthavritta.
The session focused on the importance of nutritional care in patient management, including nutritional assessment, appropriate dietary planning, monitoring, safe food handling and proper documentation. The role of nursing staff in implementing the Nutritional Therapy Policy and maintaining quality and patient safety in accordance with NABH standards was also discussed.
The session was informative and helped enhance the nursing staff’s awareness regarding the effective implementation of the Nutritional Therapy Policy.
