JWALA 2023 -WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Women’s day celebration were held at the institute on 07/03/2023 at koothambalam. The programme was presided by Dr. Sheba Sunil, Principal Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. The programme was officially inaugurated with lighting the lamp by Mrs Sriya Gopal, managing trustee, Ahalia group of institutions along with chief guests, Dr V S Priya,(first trans women Doctor) and Dr Nandini Varma ( Ayurveda Doctor and renowned Thayambaka artist). The chief guest Dr. V. S Priya narrated her life story which in turn inspired all women gathered over there. Dr. Nandini Varma won the hearts with her scintillating thayambaka performance. The felicitators Dr Deepak K S spoke about the importance of gender equity and Dr Arya S Varma in her speech highlighted on women empowerment. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr Ammu K Sasi (Assistant Professor, Department of Prasuti tantra and Sthree roga) and vote of thanks by Ms Sandhya Sivadas (dietician, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital). The cultural programmes by student and hospital added colours to the programme.
