Breast feeding weeek celebrations 2026
As part of the Breastfeeding Week celebration, an awareness class was conducted for ASHA workers and Anganwadi teachers in collaboration with ICDS Chittur and the Department of Kaumarabhritya, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital at Block Community Hall, Nattukal on 04 August 2026 from 10.30am- 1 pm. The session was handled by Dr. Ganga N, Associate Professor & HOD, and Dr. Kavyasree B S, Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya.
As part of the program, galactagogue recipes were distributed to the participants, highlighting simple and practical dietary preparations that support lactation. The house surgeons, Dr.Sniya, Dr. Rahmath and Dr. Aswathi, actively participated in the program and assisted in its smooth conduct.
