ANATOMY EXHIBITION AND ORIENTATION CLASS

On the occasion of World Anatomy Day, the Department of Rachana Sharira, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital (AAMCH), in association with the first-year BAMS students, organized an Anatomy Exhibition and an Orientation Class for the students of Ahalia Public School. Dr Sunil Kumar N, Principal delivered an Inaugural address on the occasion of world anatomy day.
The programme was attended by 100 students from Classes X, XI, and XII of Ahalia Public School. The main objective of the programme was to create awareness about human anatomy, enhance students’ interest in the study of the human body, and introduce them to the importance of anatomy in the healthcare field.
The Anatomy Exhibition featured educational exhibits and demonstrations designed to explain the structure and functions of various parts of the human body in a simple and interesting manner. The first-year BAMS students actively participated in explaining the exhibits and interacting with the school students, making the learning experience informative and engaging.
An orientation class on anatomy was also conducted by Dr.Anoop kumar.N.S. to provide students with a basic understanding of human anatomy and its relevance in medical and healthcare education. The session highlighted the importance of anatomical knowledge in understanding the human body and its role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
The programme provided an opportunity for school students to explore the subject of anatomy beyond their regular classroom learning. It also helped them gain insights into healthcare education and encouraged them to consider healthcare professions as a potential career option in the future.
The event was conducted successfully with active participation from the school students and first-year BAMS students, reflecting the Department of Rachana Sharira’s commitment to promoting anatomical education and public awareness.
