MEDICAL CAMP HELD ON 15/11/2023

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and hospital conducted a medical camp on 15/11/2023 at Manapatta, Parakulam, Alathur, Palakkad district. Dr. Remya K Simon assistant professor, Department of Rachana Sharira and Dr. Aswathi K, assistant professor, Department of Samhita and Siddhanta attended the camp as consultant. Two house surgeons, Dr.Malavika Anilkumar B and Dr. Aishwarya. M U were also accompanied with one pharmacist, Rahan. Camp started at 9:00 am. 48 patients registered for the camp. 36 cases were of Kaya chikitsa, 11 cases were of Shalakyatantra, 1 case was of shalya tantra. All the patients were given appropriate medications as per the available medicine in the camp list. The patients were advised to have followup consultations at Ahalia Ayurveda medical College on 23rd November 2023. The camp was fuctional until 2 pm and the team reached back to campus by 3:00 pm.College transport was arranged for the transport of staff and medicines.
The camp was well organised and overall acceptance of the camp was good and cooperation from the localites and the organising members really helped with the success of the camp.
