Quiz Competition and Academic Class on Gastrointestinal Disorders
The Student Support, Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Palakkad, in collaboration with Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier’s Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal, organised a quiz competition and academic class on 16 October 2026 at Pranavam Auditorium.
Dr. Praveen P.P., Medical Officer, AH&RC, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal, delivered an academic session on “Gastrointestinal Disorders – Its Clinical Implications,” highlighting the importance of gut health from an Ayurvedic perspective.
A quiz competition on “Gulma and Grahani – Ayurveda and Modern Relevance” was also conducted. Around 50 participants, including faculty members, House Surgeons and BAMS students from the 2022 and 2024 batches, attended the programme and benefited from the academic session and quiz competition.

– Second Prize: Mr. Rohit K. H, 2022 Batch BAMS
The prize distribution will be held during the Annual Conference scheduled for 1 November 2026 at Coimbatore.
The programme was informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ subject knowledge, clinical understanding and interest in academic activities.
