NARIP Visit

Department of Panchakarma, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College organised a one day academic visit for the 2022 BAMS batch students to the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy on March 13, 2026. The objectives of the visit were to gain knowledge of advancements in the instrumentation of Panchakarma and Upakarma and to gain insighgt into research in the field of Panchakarma, including Biochemical and Pharmacological analysis. The students gained an opportunity to experience Panchakarma and Upakarma procedure performnce at a national-level Panchakarma research institute.

The visit featured informative addresses from the leadership at NARIP – Dr V C Deep (Assistant Director, in charge, NARIP) , Dr Sudesh N. Gaidhani (Assistant Director, Pharmacology) and Dr N. Tamizh Selvam (Assistant Director, Biochemistry).

The visit was facilitated by Dr Sariga K S, Research officer, who ensured a smooth and highly educational experience for all participants. Research officers of all the departments shared their department functioning, advancement of instruments and equipments in their respective fields. Dr Teres Joshy (Associate Professor, Department of Panchakarma) and Dr Betsy Baby (Associate Professor and HOD, Department of Roganidana), Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College Palakkad, accompnied the students.
