LEGAL AWARENESS CLASS

A Legal Awareness Class was organized by the Department of Agadatantra for the BAMS students and faculty members of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad, on 10th March 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The program aimed to create awareness about important legal aspects relevant to medical professionals and students.

The session was conducted by Adv. Zigmadas,Panel Advocate Taluk Legal Services

Committee Palakkad, and Mrs. Sumathi, Panel Legal Volunteer District Legal Service Authority Palakkad. They delivered an informative talk highlighting various legal rights, responsibilities, and laws that medical professionals should be aware of while practicing. The speakers explained legal procedures, patient rights, medico-legal responsibilities, and the importance of maintaining proper medical documentation.

The session also emphasized the role of legal awareness in preventing professional negligence and ensuring ethical medical practice. The speakers interacted with the students and faculty, clarifying their doubts and providing practical insights related to medico-legal cases.
