SANJEEVANAM 2023

As a part of sanjeevanam 2023 Department of Agdatantra, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical college palakkad has conducted a one day seminar and workshop on traditional Keraleeya visha chikitsa on 24/02/2023 at koothambalam Ahalia heritage village. The Programme was organized by Department of Agadatantra Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. The Inaugural ceremony was commenced at 9.30 am. Dr. Rakesh R. Bubu Assistant Professor Department of Agadatantra welcomed all the dignitaries gathered inside the koothamabalam. Programe was inaugurated by honourable managing trustee Mrs. Sriya Gopal. Presidential address was given by Dr. Sheba sunil, Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical college followed by lighting the lamp . Felicitation was given by Dr. Sunil kumar vice Principal AAMCH, and Mr. Shibu, Hospital administrator.

Shri. Manmadhan vaidyar, Legend of Keraleeya visha chikitsa was the guest speaker, vaidya was honoured in the ceremony. Inaugural session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Anjana. Madathil, Assistant professor. For the seminar 152 delegates were registered. Students and faculties from inside and outside kerala were actively participated throughout the seminar and workshop.First session was handled by Dr. Jyothi sajayan ,Hod and associate professor Department of Agadatantra on an introductory talk towards traditional visha chikitsa. Followed by interactive session and medicine preparation workshop with Shri. Manmadhan vaidyar. The session was very informative to all. Tea, snacks and lunch for the delegates were arranged in Ahalia heritage mess hall. Workshop on preparation of traditional Agada formulation Erithaila and vishavilwadi gulika was started in the Afternoon session. Participants were actively engaged in the prepartion of Agada formulations. By 4.15 pm the programme was concluded. After that all the delegates enjoyed beauty of Ahalia by visiting Heritage museum, Ayurveda college and Ahalia campus.
