SAKSHAM – FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

A Faculty Development Programme “SAKSHAM” was conducted at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College on 10th &11th of June 2026 in the Conference Hall from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.17 faculties participated on the first day while 23 faculties participated on the second day. The programme focused on the topic “Adult Learning Principles and Major Challenges.”The resource person for the programme was Mr. Hari P. Guptha, Master Trainer, Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council, in association with BPRL Sagar Pharma. The session provided valuable insights into the principles of adult learning, effective teaching strategies, learner engagement, and the various challenges encountered in adult education.
Mr. Hari P. Guptha conducted highly interactive and informative sessions throughout the day. The programme enabled participants to understand the characteristics of adult learners, methods to enhance learning outcomes, and practical approaches to overcoming challenges in the teaching-learning process. The sessions encouraged active participation, discussion, and sharing of experiences among the faculty members. The FDP was exceptionally well received by all participants. The resource person’s expertise, engaging presentation style, and practical examples made the programme highly effective and beneficial. Overall, the programme was outstanding and provided valuable knowledge that will help faculty members improve their teaching practices and contribute to better learning experiences for students. The programme concluded successfully with positive feedback from all participants.
