EDUCATIONAL VISIT FOR 3RD YEAR BAMS STUDENTS (2019 BATCH)
Dept. of Swasthavritta, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad conducted an Educational Visit for the 3rd year BAMS students (2019 batch) on 7th February 2023. 46 students along with 2 accompanying teachers went for the visit. Students reached Milk pasteurisation Unit, Milma Palakkad Dairy, Kalepully, Palakkad by 9am. They were provided with surgical head cap and mask. They saw different levels of pasteurisation. Staff of Milma pasteurisation unit explained the procedure and levels of pasteurisation, FSSAI standards for milk and milk products, different types of packets of Milma and the difference in the milk quality and contents. Then they reached Water Treatment Plant, Kerala Water Authority, Malampuzha by 11.30am and the staff explained and showed Back washing, Tests to identify pH and Hardness of water.
