EDUCATIONAL VISIT FOR 2nd PROFESSIONAL BAMS STUDENTS (2021 BATCH)

A batch of 30 students along with faculties of Dept of Swasthavritta & Dept of Dravyagunavijnana, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad paid a visit to Sewage Treatment Plant, Dharwad, Karnataka on 23/11/2024. Students observed the primary, secondary and tertiary treatment of Sewage water, which included mechanical & manual procedures.

45 students along with 3 faculties visited the Water Treatment Plant, Kerala Water Authority, Malampuzha on 25/11/2024 by 10 am the staff explained and showed Back washing, aeration, and flocculation tank, and Tests to identify the pH and Hardness of the water.
Then they reached the Milk Pasteurisation Unit, Milma Palakkad Dairy, Kalepully, Palakkad by 12 noon. They visited the unit with the help of employees & staff. were provided with surgical head caps. They observed the working of the Diary plant in detail including milk bulk transportation, storage, sterilization and production of various dairy products from milk.
27th November 2024
48 students along with faculties of Dept of Swasthavritta visited Nila Nature Cure & Ayurveda Centre, Mayannur, Thrissur on 27th November 2024. They reached by 9.30 am. The Staff explained and demonstrated Eye wash, Jala Neti, Mud therapy, Hydrotherapy and Sun baths and provided a healthy naturopathic diet for the team.
