Campus visit to Herbal garden under Centre for Indian Medicinal Heritage

As a part of NCISM curriculum second professional BAMS students were taken to an out campus visit to Herbal garden under Centre for Indian Medicinal Heritage (CIMH) at Kanjikkode on 22/08/2024, Thursday. Students got the opportunity to explore a well-maintained medicinal plant garden along with RET plants and a sacred grove. Students got as opportunity to have a discussion with Dr. Ajayan sadanandan, President CIMH and Dr. Sasikumar, In charge CIMH regarding importance of conserving medicinal plants and importance of identification of plants through morphological evaluation. 2021 batch students along with faculties of Dravyaguna vijnana department attended the out-campus visit.
