WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION – 2023
Every year June 5 is celebrated as world environment day. This year the celebrations focused on solutions to plastic pollution under campaign #BeatPlasticPollution. Like every year Department of Dravyaguna vijnana, Ahalia Ayurveda medical college in association with Green ahalia, celebrated world environment day on 16th of june, 9:30-12:30am.
2 new thematic gardens under Green Ahalia named ‘Poisonous drug garden’ and ‘Trigandhaka’ were inaugurated in the campus premise by Mrs. Sreya Gopal, Managing trustee, Ahalia group. Students of Ahalia Ayurveda medical college enthusiastically participated in planting the seedlings in the garden area. Our chief guest, Dr. P.E. Rajasekharan, Principal scientist, IIHR banglore, our guest of honour , Dr.K.K. Seethalakshmi, Former chief scientist, KSCSTE-KFRI were also present in the occasion.
