Saksham – life skill workshop

A Life Skill Workshop titled “SAKSHAM” was conducted for the newly joined house surgeons of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College on 26 th and 27th of September 2024 at Pranavam Auditorium. The resource person for the programme was Mr. Hari P. Guptha,Master Trainer, Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council, in association with BPRL Sagar Pharma. 17 House surgeons participated on the first day while 16 participated on the second day. The programme aimed to enhance professional competencies, interpersonal skills, and effective communication among house surgeons.

The workshop focused on adult learning principles, effective communication, learner engagement, and challenges encountered in professional practice. The sessions encouraged active participation, interaction, and sharing of experiences, helping the house surgeons understand the importance of life skills in their professional and personal development.
The programme provided valuable insights into developing essential skills for effective teamwork, interpersonal relationships, and professional responsibilities. The workshop was well received by the participants and concluded successfully, contributing to their orientation and preparedness for clinical training and professional practice.
