REPORT ON DRAVYA PRAMANYA 2026
Dravya Pramanya 2026, an International Conference on Innovation and Interdisciplinary Research in Ayurveda, was organized by Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana, Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Medical College, Ollur in association with NIT Calicut and California College of Ayurveda, USA on 3 October 2026 at Casino Hotel, Thrissur. The conference provided an academic platform for discussing recent innovations, research developments and interdisciplinary approaches in Ayurveda.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General, CCRAS, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The programme highlighted the importance of scientific research, innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing Ayurvedic knowledge and practice.
Faculty members from Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College actively participated in the conference. The participants were Dr. Deepa K. K., Dr. Sethu R., Dr. Krishna Priya A, Dr Manju Raj K, Dr. Bindu K. Viswambharan, Dr. Aswathy U. S., Dr. Abdul Sukkur, Dr. Minu Chandran, Dr. Aswathy K., Dr. Betsy Baby, Dr. Saranya Syam, Dr. Divyasree, Dr Teres Joshy and Dr. Veena Viswanath.
The conference provided the faculty with valuable exposure to current research trends and opportunities for academic interaction and knowledge sharing. Participation in the programme contributed to professional development and encouraged greater engagement in research and interdisciplinary academic activities.
