Awareness class & School health check up
On the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day, Department of Kaumarabhritya, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Palakkad, organized an Awareness Programme & School health check up at Government Middle School, Chinnappampalayam, Pollachi, on Friday, 25 September 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
As part of the programme, awareness sessions were conducted on the following topics:
– Small habits, Big health – Ayurveda for super students – Dr Ganga N, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Kaumarabhritya
– Eat wise, study smart: An Ayurveda Pediatrician’s guide to everyday school nutrition – Dr. Kavyasree B S, Assistant Professor, Department of Kaumarabhritya
The awareness sessions were attended by the teachers and students of Government middle school, Chinnappampalayam, Pollachi, and provided valuable insights into daily health routines & healthy nutrition for school students.
A school health check up programme was also conducted with the objective of assessing the general health status of school students & individual school health check up card were documented.
3 house surgeons Jesmi, Anusree C R & Shyma supported the programme.
A total of 50 beneficiaries availed the services of the awareness classes & school health check up.
