NSS ORIENTATION SESSION

An NSS Orientation Session was organized by the NSS Unit of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Unit No. NSS/FU/PKD/KUHS/1, at Pranavam Auditorium at 2:00 PM. The session was conducted by Mr. Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan, Educational and Social Activist and NSS Trainer. The programme began with a welcome speech by Dr. RaneshAK Programme Officer, who welcomed the resource person, Principal, teachers, and NSS volunteers to the session. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Principal, Dr. Sunil Kumar. The session led by Mr. Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan was highly energetic and interactive. He introduced the volunteers to the importance, objectives, and values of the National Service Scheme (NSS). He emphasized the role of NSS in developing social responsibility, leadership qualities, teamwork, empathy, and a spirit of service among students. He also highlighted the importance of forming strong bonds and healthy relationships among people through collective activities and social service. The orientation included an enjoyable fun-games session, which encouraged active participation, communication, teamwork, and interaction among the volunteers. The activities created a cheerful atmosphere and helped the participants build better connections with one another. Around 100 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme. Faculty members and teachers were also present and supported the session. The enthusiastic participation of the volunteers made the programme lively, meaningful, and memorable. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Indrajit, NSS Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, Principal, Programme Officer, teachers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the orientation session. Overall, the NSS Orientation Session was an energetic, informative, and engaging programme that helped the volunteers understand the significance of NSS while strengthening friendship, teamwork, and a sense of social responsibility among the participants.
