Anti Drug Day Awareness Programme

As per the circular issued by Kerala University of Health Sciences, an Anti-Drug Day Awareness Programme was conducted on 18 June 2026 under the guidance of the nodal officers. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, who emphasized the importance of creating awareness among students about the dangers of substance abuse and the need to work towards a drug-free society.
The awareness session was led by Advocate Shahbas M, who delivered a talk on the impact of drug addiction on youth and society, highlighting its legal, social, and personal consequences.
Ms. Sumati, Para Legal Volunteer (PLV), also addressed the gathering and explained the various services provided by the District Legal Services Authority Palakkad for the welfare and legal
assistance of the public.The programme helped create awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of building a healthy, drug-free society.
