BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING
Under the guidance of Department of Agadatantra, Second professional BAMS 2023 batch students attended the training session on Basic life support from 23/02/2026 to 27/02/2026 as four batches at Ahalia Diabetes Hospital.

Dr Mohan C, Intensivist of Ahalia Diabetes Hospital demonstrated and gave a brief lecture on Basic life support, its importance and the right way to do it according to American Heart association. The CPR training session was highly effective in providing with a practical foundation in emergency medical care. The session moved beyond theory, utilizing step-by-step clinical demonstrations followed by intensive hands-on practice on high-fidelity manikins. This interactive approach allowed students to master the CAB (Circulation, Airway, and Breathing) sequence, focusing on the precision of chest compression depth and the correct 30:2 ventilation ratio. By practicing these life-saving techniques in a controlled environment, students gained the necessary technical skills and confidence to recognize and manage sudden cardiac arrest, effectively preparing them to act as competent first responders in real-world emergency situations.
