Silence must be strictly observed in the Library.<\/span><\/p>\n All staff and students must sign the gate register while entering and leaving the Library. Entry to the Library is permitted only with a valid ID card.<\/span><\/p>\n Personal belongings such as bags, textbooks, and coats must be kept on the racks provided at the entrance. Only loose sheets of paper and pens are permitted inside the Library.<\/span><\/p>\n Use of mobile phones and edibles in the Library is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n Reference books and periodicals shall not be issued to students or faculty members.<\/span><\/p>\n Reference materials may not be taken out of the Library except with the authorization of the Librarian.<\/span><\/p>\n Marking, writing remarks, tearing pages, or damaging books in any manner is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n Borrowers are responsible for the loss or damage of library books.<\/span><\/p>\n Users must ensure that books are in good condition at the time of borrowing to avoid responsibility for damages noticed at return.<\/span><\/p>\n Any type of malpractice in the Library shall be punishable.<\/span><\/p>\n On leaving the Library, all users are requested to cooperate during inspection of all books and items taken out of the Library.<\/span><\/p>\n The Library is under CCTV surveillance.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”zoomIn”] All students must present their college ID card before borrowing any library materials.<\/span><\/p>\n Students are permitted to borrow three (3) books for a period of 14 days.<\/span><\/p>\n Faculty members are permitted to borrow four (4) books at a time for a period of one month.<\/span><\/p>\n Issue and return of books shall be carried out as per library procedures.<\/span><\/p>\n Students are not allowed to borrow books on behalf of others or transfer borrowed books to other students.<\/span><\/p>\n Any book issued at any point in time can be recalled by the Librarian at any moment.<\/span><\/p>\n Overdue charges of Rs. 10\/- per day shall be levied if books are not returned within the due date. If the due date falls on a holiday, the book must be returned on the next working day. All holidays will be included in arriving at the number of days overdue.<\/span><\/p>\n If a book is lost or damaged, the borrower must replace it with a new copy of the same\/latest edition within the due date or pay double the cost of the book.<\/span><\/p>\n Lost books must be reported to the Librarian immediately and replaced or paid for within 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n Reservation and renewal of books are possible only through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) on or before the due date.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css_animation=”zoomIn”]<\/p>\nUseful Links<\/h3>\n
