100-DAY INTENSIFIED TB CAMPAIGN (07/12/2024 to 24/03/2025)
As a part of the 100-Day Intensified TB campaign by the Ministry of AYUSH, Dept of Swasthavritta, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad arranged a series of programs.
20/01/2025 to 25/01/2025 – CIRCULATION OF E-POSTERS
E-posters describing the symptoms, risk factors & prevention of TB were prepared by the Dept of Swasthavritta and circulated in Social media from the 20th to 25th of January 2025.
NI-KSHAY SHAPATH (PLEDGE) – 27/01/2025 to 02/02/2025
BAMS students of different batches took Ni-kshay Shapath (pledge) during the period from the 27th of January 2025 to the 2nd of February 2025 reaffirming their commitment to the eradication of TB.
AWARENESS GENERATION FOR THE HOSPITAL STAFF – 11/02/2025
An awareness session was arranged by the Dept of Swasthavritta for the Hospital staff on TB including its symptoms, prevention and treatment on 11/02/2024 at 3.30pm. The session was taken by Dr Anjana S, Assistant Professor, Dept of Kayachikitsa, AAMC. Welcome speech of the session was by Dr. Haripriya H, Associate professor & HOD, Dept of Swasthavritta, and a Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr Preethimol T P, Assistant Professor, Dept of Swasthavritta, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. 40 participants attended the session.
DISTRIBUTION OF IEC MATERIALS – 18/02/2025 to 19/02/2025
Pamphlets explaining the symptoms, risk factors, and prevention of TB were prepared and distributed by the 2nd Professional BAMS students (2022 batch) and Members of the College Union (Samroha), AAMC to the patients as well as Hospital staff of AAMC
