Seminar series in accordance with callista 2k22 day 3

In association with CALLISTA ’22 seminar was conducted on the topic “Clinical Confirmation of Death” taken by Dr Jyothi Sajayan ,HOD department of agadatantra on 10/11/22 from 3 pm to 4 pm.The session started with welcome speech by Dr Chitranjali Anilkumar .About 60 house surgeons were present.
Session begun with definitions of death in different aspects.

Followed by signs of death confirmation, signs of brain stem death. How to issue a death certificate and some legal aspects was also described during the session. Video Demonstration was done on brain stem death. In Final part of the session practical demonstration was done by house surgeons on Dr Abrar who volunteered as a demo .The session concluded with doubt clearance by everyone. Session was really informative and boosted confidence of every attendees.
