Republic Day 2025 NSS Activity

Republic Day marks the adoption of India’s constitution and the country’s transition to a republic on January 26, 1950. India as a sovereign democratic republic completed 75 years of its eventful journey on Sunday (January 26, 2025), with the stage set at the Kartavya Path in the national capital and celebration across the country. This year’s theme is “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas”, which emphasizes India’s rich cultural legacy while highlighting it’s strides in development and modernization.

NSS volunteers of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College celebrated the Republic Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The programme started at 8.30am with the Indian National Flag hoisted, followed by the National Anthem. Welcome speech was done by Dr Ranesh A K(Assnt. Prof. Kayachikitsa Dept),the Programme Officer . Republic Day messages were given by Mr. Shibu Rajendran(Administrator), Dr Ajesh M Pillai(Senior consultant) and Dr Anoop Kumar C A (Hod. Panchakarma). NSS volunteers presented some cultural programmes which included, patriotic song and patriotic dance along with a Republic Day speech by Aliya N. The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks by Mr Senu (Asst Admin).
