MEDICAL CAMP HELD ON 6/11/2023

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and hospital conducted a medical camp on 6/11/2023 at Malakkulam, Alathur, Palakkad district. Dr.Sethu R, Assistant professor, Dept. of Dravyaguna attended the camp as consultant. Two house surgeons, Dr. Fathima Fairooz PA and Dr. Liyana Khalil were also accompanied with one pharmacist, Rahan Krishna. Camp started at 9:00 am. 65 patients registered for the camp. 5 patients came for general health checkup, 46 cases were of Kayachikitsa, including 1 Manasika roga case, 12 cases were of Shalakyatantra, 1 case was of Shalyatantra and 1 case of Streeroga. All the patients were given appropriate medications as per the available medicine in the camp list. The patients were advised to have follow-up consultations at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College on 15th November 2023. The camp was functional until 2 pm and the team reached back to campus by 3:00 pm.
College transport was arranged for the transport of staff and medicines.
The camp was well organized and overall acceptance of the camp was good and cooperation from the localities and the organizing members really helped with the success of the camp.
