Independence Day 2025

The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at our college. It was organised jointly by Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Vyuha College Union and the National Service Scheme (NSS). The 79th Independence Day celebrations reflected the true spirit of “Naya Bharat” — a blend of patriotism, creativity, and community service.

The programme began with a warm welcome by the anchors, Aliya and Athira(NSS volunteers) setting the tone for the day with a reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and our responsibility towards shaping the nation’s future.

The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, where our Principal, Dr. Sheba M.D, unfurled the national flag. This was followed by the National Anthem, sung by the gathering in unison, filling the atmosphere with patriotic pride.

The felicitation ceremony featured inspiring addresses from Dr. Sheba M.D, Mr. Shibu (Hospital Administrator), Dr. Ajesh M Pillai (Senior Consultant), and Dr. Anoop Kumar C.A (HOD – Dept. of Panchakarma).

As part of the celebrations, the prize distribution for the Rangoli Competition was held. The First Prize was presented by the Principal, and the Second Prize was awarded to the runner-up by Dr Ajesh M Pillai.

The cultural segment added colour and vibrancy to the event. Patriotic song  and dance was done by NSS volunteers both of which received warm appreciation from the audience.

The official programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr Ranesh A K ( NSS incharge & Asst Prof Dept of Kayachikitsa) expressing gratitude to the management, faculty, students, and all who contributed to the success of the event.

From 10:00 am onwards, the students of our college proudly participated in an Independence Day March, displaying discipline, unity, and respect towards the nation. The march created a sense of pride and patriotism among everyone present.After that, engaging games such as Quiz and Tom, Dick and Harry were conducted, drawing active participation and enthusiastic responses from students, making the day both memorable and interactive. With that, the celebrations of Independence day came to an end leaving the campus resonating with unity, pride, and the promise of building a stronger India.
