INAUGURATION OF ‘SAIRANDHRI VANA – NEW HERBAL GARDEN
NEW HERBAL GARDEN (UNDER SCHOOL HERBAL GARDEN PROJECT FUNDED BY STATE MEDICINAL PLANTS BOARD)
The much awaited inauguration of our new herbal garden – ‘Sairandhri vana’ took place on 14/02/2025. The event was graced with the esteemed presence of Dr. Mini Raj, Consultant for State Medicinal Plants Board, as chief guest.
The official inauguration was marked by the symbolic planting of saplings by Dr. Mini Raj. Dr. Sheba M.D, (Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College) Dr. Haridasan K( Consultant for Bioresources, Ahalia International Foundation), Mr. Shibu (Administrator, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College Hospital) and Green Ahalia team members garced the auspicious occasion with their presence. Official inaugural session was followed by a technical session handled by Dr. Mini Raj. Students of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College attended the session.
Department of Dravyaguna vijnana, with the support of State Medicinal Plants Board established this garden with a view of better understanding of applying medicinal plants in various SROTHAS of our body.
