IEDC ORIENTATION CLASS

On 21st July 2025, the 3rd year engineering students from Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology organized an interactive class session on behalf of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) for the 1st year students of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital.

The session began with an insightful explanation of the concepts of business and startup, highlighting their key differences to provide a foundational understanding for the students.This was followed by a fun and engaging Kahoot! online quiz, with questions based on Ayurveda. The students were divided into five groups, creating a collaborative and competitive environment that encouraged participation.

To further enhance creative thinking, a game was conducted where famous brand names were given to each group, and they were asked to reimagine the product’s form without changing its core use. Another interactive activity challenged students to guess popular brand names based on clues or indirect references, which sparked enthusiasm and critical thinking.

Winners of all games were rewarded, adding excitement and motivation throughout the session.In conclusion, the session was highly interactive and informative, aimed at nurturing innovative thinking and encouraging students to think beyond traditional boundaries. It successfully introduced entrepreneurial concepts in a fun and engaging way, marking a productive collaboration between the engineering and Ayurveda students.
