Gandhi Jayanti (Swachta Hi Seva )

Gandhi jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October every year and honours the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. NSS unit of Ahalia Ayurveda medical college also celebrated Gandhi jayanti in a various splendid way lasting for one week. NSS volunteers engaged themselves in cleaning the college.The herbal garden in the college was the main site of cleaning session.

The one week cleaning programme was Officially started on 25/09/2023 from 3:00pm onwards. Program is also intended to help the workers in the herbal garden.The program started with inaugural speech by first year NSS volunteer followed by felicitation speech by dr.Yadukrishnan , NSS programming officer. Then cleaning session started  by NSS volunteers and teachers from nearly all departments along with the workers. All volunteers find it very enlightening to work with the workers. the program was completed by 7 days Each day on evenings NSS volunteers engage themselves in cleaning different areas of the garden. the program was ended on the seventh day by having evening snacks and nourishments together.Thus the one week engaged in cleaning has a profound impact on the volunteers in understanding  the importance of Cleaning ourselves and surroundings in daily life.
