The Department of Roga Nidana organized a scholarly session under the “Dyuthi – Guest Lecture Series on Ayurveda Diagnosis” on 5th November 2025 (Wednesday) at Pranavam Auditorium. The session was conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Mukesh E, Professor, Department of Roga Nidana, VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal. He spoke on the topic “Nidana: Mapping Etiology to Therapeutics in Ayurveda Practice.”
Dr. Mukesh E provided an in-depth exploration of the principles of Nidana and emphasized the importance of understanding the etiology of diseases as the foundation of accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. His talk highlighted how precise identification of causative factors enables appropriate therapeutic planning in clinical Ayurveda practice. Real-life examples and clinical correlations enriched the session, making the concepts highly relatable and applicable for students and practitioners.
