CHARAKA JAYANTHI 2025

Depatment of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit celebrated “CHARAKA JAYANTHI 2025” on 30-07-2025 with an enlightening seminar. Venue was at Pranavam auditorium, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. The program started at 9.30 am with prayer. Welcome speech was done by Dr. Abdul Sukkur.M, Associate Prof and HOD of Dept. of Samhita Sanskrit Siddhanta. Function inaugurated by Vaidya Prasad M by lighting the lamp and an inaugural speech. Presidential address was done by Dr. M.D Sheba Sunil, Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. Felicitation was done by Dr. Betsy Baby, staff advisor. Vote of thanks was delivered by Sri. Sreejith, Associate professor, Dept. of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit.

Parayanam on Charaka Samhita Sutarstana chapter one was done by first professional BAMS students of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. Followed by a session on Samhita Padana W.S.R. to Charaka Samhita by Vaidya Prasad M. About 30 faculties and 100 students attended the function. Later, A speak up Challenge “Sameeksha” was conducted among the students of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College to honor the timeless wisdom of Acharya Charaka and his contributions to Ayurveda. The winners were awarded with cash prize.
