CHARAKA JAYANTHI

Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit celebrated “CHARAKA JAYANTHI” on 17-8-2023 with an enlightening seminar. Venue was at auditorium, Ahalia Ayurveda college. The programme started at 9.30 am with prayer. Welcome speech was done by DR. Abdul Sukkur.M, Associate professor, Dept. of Samhita Siddhanta and sanskrit. Function inaugurated by Dr. M.D Sheba, Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College by lighting the lamp and an inaugural speech. Felicitation done by Dr. Sunilkumar .N, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Prof and HOD, Dept of Kayachikitsa, Dr. Minu Chandran, Assistant professor Department of Samhita Sanskrit Siddhanta and Dr. Aswathi.K department of Samhita Siddantha and Sanskrit. Guest lecture was given by DR. Jishnu.R on the topic CRITICAL THINKING IN ANALYSING CHARAKA SAMHITHA. Session was attended by students of three batches and faculties. There was parayanam by first year students on Deerganjeevitheeyam Adhyayam and Skit was performed on basis of Matraseetheeyam Adyayam. Later vote of thanks was delivered by Sunduka Vijayan College union chairman and final year student.
