(NSS) unit of our college organized a Student Outreach Programme – Rural House Visit as part of the Ayurveda Arogya Mitra initiative. The programme aimed to create awareness on basic health guidelines, promote preventive healthcare practices, and collect relevant survey data to support community well-being.
The students of the 2025 batch, accompanied by faculty members and NSS volunteers from the 2023 and 2024 batches, actively participated in the house-to-house survey. The team visited households in the Vadakarapathy Panchayath.
Volunteers ensured that the information was conveyed in a clear and approachable manner, encouraging families to adopt healthy habits. The survey collected valuable data regarding the health status, lifestyle patterns, and healthcare needs of the community, which will contribute to future health-promoting initiatives.
