Awareness class and Medicinal plant distribution

On the occasion of National Ayurveda Day Celebration 2022, Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College has conducted awareness programme and medicinal plant distribution to the NCC students of Elappully Govt.Higher Secondary School. Dr. Ankitha Sudheendran, Assistant Professor, dept. of Dravyaguna Vijnana along with two House surgeons did the camp activities. There was an Inaugural session which started at 10.30 AM in the school seminar hall. The programme was conducted under the title ‘Arogya Pacha-a model herbal garden at school’. It was an awareness programme for hundreds of high school students, regarding the importance of maintenance of Medicinal plant garden at both school and home. Following the awareness session, we distributed 30 species of important medicinal plants to the NCC cadets, to prepare a herbal garden at school. The programme ended by 12pm.
