ATARA Graduation Ceremony
“Atara” graduation ceremony of (10th batch BAMS students) Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College was held on 23 August 2025 at AWACH AUDITORIUM, Ahalia Campus. The graduation ceremony occurred from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The ceremony began with a prayer(Adithyadas KV, Amritha S , Vadhana IR students AAMC ,Pkd) , setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. Dr Teres Joshy, Associate Professor, Department of Panchakarma, delivered the welcome speech, extending a warm welcome to all attendees including the dignitaries, faculty and graduating students and their family. This was followed by the presidential address of Dr Sheba Sunil, Principal, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, who highlighted the achievements of the graduating batch and the institution’s endeavours in Ayurveda education.
Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS (Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences), graced the occasion as the chief guest, lending prestige to the event. Dr Krishna Kumar Kishore, Executive Director, Academics, Ahalia Health, Heritage & Knowledge village offered felicitation, congratulating the graduates on their achievement.
The graduation ceremony included the distribution of mementos to the best outgoing student, Dr Sreelakshmi E B (2019 BAMS batch), college toppers of KUHS University Examination, AIAPGET 2025 toppers and book release of Dr Vandana (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Prasutitantra and Streeroga) . This moment was accompanied by a ceremonial address of Vaidya Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS. Dr Aishwarya Shajan shared an experience speech, reflecting on her journey and insights in the field of Ayurveda. During the reply speech by Dr Sunduka Vijayan, a heartfelt gesture was made where a small token of love was given to the parents, acknowledging their unwavering support and role in the graduates’ journey.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Anjana S, Associate Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa, expressing appreciation to all involved in making the ceremony a success. Following the vote of thanks, the ceremony proceeded to the photo session, where graduates, faculty, and dignitaries took memorable photographs. It was during this session that tokens of appreciation were given to the teachers, expressing gratitude for their guidance and mentorship throughout the students’ academic journey. Dr Sreelakshmi Santhakumaran (alumuna AAMC Pkd) ,Sniya Vadakkan and Aradhya Sunil(students AAMC ,Pkd) served as emcee.
The programme was accompanied by a splendid lunch, cultural events by students and graduates of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College and wrapped up with a mind-blowing performance by the band Euphonic.
