Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Kanjikkode Visit
Department of Rasasastra Evam Bhaishajya kalpana and Dravya guna Vijnana organized a combined visit to Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Kanjikkode on 10 th of July 2025. Second professional students accompanied by faculties of departments visited the AVP pharmacy, Quality control lab and herbal garden- CIMH (center for Indian medical heritage an initiative of AVP).Students were able to explore various section of Pharmacy like Raw materials store, Preprocessing room, boiler room, fermentation room, powdering section etc. Students also gained knowledge on the importance of Quality control measures in Ayurveda Pharmacy ensuring the safety and efficacy of medicines. In CIMH students were exposed to many rare medicinal plants. The visit provided them with knowledge regarding importance of maintaining the endemic flora and relevance of medicinal plant cultivation.
