Anti-Ragging Day Programme 2025

As part of the Anti-Ragging Week observance from 12th to 18th August 2025, the Anti-Ragging Committee of Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College organised an Anti-Ragging Day programme on 12th August 2025 at the Pranavam Auditorium.
The programme commenced at 10:45 am with a prayer, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Deepa K. K., Professor and Head, Department of Dravyaguna. The Presidential Address was delivered by Principal Sr. Sheba M D, highlighting the college’s commitment to a ragging-free environment.
The official inauguration was carried out by Mr. Vipin Raj, Sub-Inspector of Police, Kasaba Police Station, who emphasised the legal consequences of ragging and the importance of vigilance among students and faculty alike.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Ammu Vinod.
Following the formal function, students were shown the UGC Anti-Ragging Awareness Video, which conveyed the preventive measures and penalties associated with ragging. This was followed by an interactive awareness session by Mr. Vipin Raj, SI of Police, who shared practical advice, real-life cases, and guidelines on reporting incidents.
The event successfully reinforced the message of the week’s theme, Youth Against Ragging, and inspired students to actively participate in creating a respectful and safe academic atmosphere.
