ABHAYODHYANAM INAUGURATION & GUEST LECTURE ON ‘PLANT IDENTIFICATION ANS ITS APPLICATION IN AYURVEDA’

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical college in association with Green Ahalia organized a guest lecture on the topic ‘PLANT IDENTIFICATION ANS ITS APPLICATION IN AYURVEDA’ on 12/01/2026 at Pranavam auditorium, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College. Dr. S.S. HAMEED, Head of office, Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Southern Regional center, Coimbatore lead an informative session on the above topic. In the session, students could have an idea about the history of plant taxonomy and help students understands the relevance of identifying plant in practicing quality Ayurveda medicine. Dr. Sheba Sunil, Principal, AAMC presided over the function. Dr. K. Haridasan, Consultant, Green Ahalia described about the newly inaugurated RET plant garden to the audience. Mr. Sabik, Botanist, Green Ahalia gave the welcome address and Dr. Deepa K K, Professor & H.O.D, Deaprtment of Dravyaguna vijnana delivered the vote of thanks.
