Navapravarthan Idea Hackathon
The Navapravarthan Idea Hackathon took place at Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College in Palakkad on December 30, 2024. The event focused on innovative solutions in Ayurveda, with themes including:
– Innovative Ayurvedic products
– Bio-instruments for diagnosis and treatment
– Digital tools for Ayurvedic practices
– Ayurvedic diet and nutrition innovations
– AI and data science for personalized treatment
An expert panel, comprising Nandu S Nair ( Asst professor CSE), Dr. Gunasekaran( Prof/CSE), Dr. Anoop Kumar C A (Prof &HOD Panchakarmaka), Dr Yadhukrishnan ( Asst professor Shalakya tantra) and Dr Ammu K Sasi ( Founder Iham Ayurveda) evaluated the ideas.
Out of six registered ideas, three were selected for the next stage of assessment by AIIA Delhi. The winning ideas were:
- “Dahashamani in the form of tea bags” by Mr. Benedict John.
- “Dosha-based ayurvedic energy bars and drinks for gym performance” by Ms. Sowmya S
- “Bharangi Moola Arka – The Ayurvedic inhaler for asthma eposodes” by a team consisting of Mr. Muhammad Rameez, Mr. Sreeram P, and Ms. Anusree S.
