Academic Session for the CCPT course at NARIP, Cheruthuruthy
A session on “Different Types of Vasti and Their Pharmacological Actions” was conducted for the 48th Batch of the Certificate Course in Panchakarma Therapy (CCPT) at NARIP, Cheruthuruthy, on 19 September 2026 at 9:30 am.
The session was organised by the National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma (NARIP), Cheruthuruthy for a batch of 52 BAMS doctors, with the aim of enhancing their clinical expertise in Panchakarma. The session was facilitated by Dr Teres Joshy, Associate Professor, Department of Panchakarma, Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad.
The session covered the various types of Vasti and their clinical applications, along with an explanation of the principles behind their therapeutic effects. The scientific and pharmacological perspectives of Vasti were also discussed to help the participants correlate the classical Ayurvedic concepts with contemporary scientific understanding.
